The Research Library and archives specializes in providing the public with information relevant to the study of the history of Alpharetta and old Milton County and the genealogy of its people. Following is a list of the sections in our archives. They represent the groupings of the current library and archival holdings and include a short description of each. Researchers are welcome.
Research Library and archives are now stored in the basement of the Log Cabin at in the Milton Ave Park at 210 Milton Ave, across from the new school that is now where the Old Milton High School was located. There are some AOMCHS workers and volunteers usually working each Tuesday and Thursday in the Log Cabin basement archive area.
